Transfer students are students who have taken college courses outside of UAA and want to receive UAA credit for that work. They include students who have successfully taken courses from UAF, UAS, and PWCC; other United States universities and colleges; and universities and colleges outside the United States.

How to Get Transfer Credits Evaluated
Students who have gone to a United States college other than those in the University of Alaska system should do the following:
- Apply for admission to UAA.
- Check the student transfer credit resource site , to see how many credits will transfer unofficially.
- Apply formally for a transcript evaluation at Enrollment Services .
- Call Enrollment Services periodically to check on the progress of your evaluation.
- Keep several copies of the formal transfer evaluation when you get it.
International Transfer Students
International transfer students should contact the International Student Advisor in Enrollment Services for their unique needs.
